Good Morning! Today is Good Friday and I finished my Easter Egg Swag

I saw Melisa Waldorfs' swag and it challenged me as I was looking for something for Easter. What do yall think?

All stamps and ink are from TAC and cardstock is DCWV. Ribbon from Joanns.
I worked in my craft room a straight 5 hours on Wed.
Watched Dancing w/the Stars results, Biggest Loser, Law & Order-SVU also Without a Trace. I run 2 VCRs everynight recording 2 channels and the DVR getting the other channels.

The Letters were Burlesque 240 on PrintMaster Platinum.
I printed in reverse on 110# white card stock from Georgia Pacific (Sam's 250 sheets).
I ran the letters thru Cuttlebug with paisley and dotted swiss embossing folders.
Lightly rub ink pad over each letter andaround edges of egg after sanding.
Stamped Cute Curliques top and bottom of each egg. Palette ink in Chartruse, Paris Lights, Reflection Blue and Belle Rose Ink.
All the small stamps are from mini sets retired from TAC. The bunny on the T is from
TAC I love Easter. I was hunting all my room for a pom-pom for the bunny tail and finally found the tinsel poms I got on sale at joann's or michael's. I picked the silver since the bunny was alittle gray around edges. I hope you click on each pix and it gets larger so you can see the details up close.

Had fun making this, Thank You Melisa!! It got my Mojo working again. I don't get to many workshops around here and I live way too far out for anyone to come here for a workshop. Basically
I have not challenged myself to think outside the box and
just play.

I got my Tommy for 3 days and He is shortenting my ribbon
rack #1 and making me Ribbon rack #2 for my closet door.
Gotta stop buying ribbon, nah can't do that!!!

I wanted to show you other cards but it will throw off all the nice work done on this day.

So I am done for today, have a good one and thanks for looking.

See ya Tomorrow and Have a Very Happy Easter!!

  1. Very cute Easter swag, Sue! And it looks like you've figured out how to get rid of the extra space after uploading photos... I remeber it taking awhile to get the hang of it!

Thanks for the lovely comment, too :)

  2. Gee, I didn't get any scrolling exercise today! Nice job with the spacing! I love the Easter swag! I can see all sorts of other applications for that idea from Christmas swags to holiday ornaments, baby shower decorations and children's door signs. You have a wonderful way of getting my creative ideas going!
    Hugs,
    Lauri
