Blue Christmas

I forgot I had this card I made recently. I want to Thank
Laurie at Stampin & Scrappin' for chosing my name for the blog candy. I enjoyed making the postcards this year, but should have made more than 10. The link she gave was for for a second card I made but did not enter as only 1 per site could be used. But the Fleece Navidad was a single layer too! This card uses TAC sentiments, marvy ink. DWV paper and snowflake and print square under snowflake is from
The Stampin' Place. Using the Joesphs' Coat Technique.
Added silver cord around the cardstock. Have a very Merry
Christmas!!!

Distressed Cuttlebug Thinking of You

I made the thank you card last week and thought I'd do more with thinking of you. It was good for this challenge too. Cuttlebug corners used and
in the circle too. CropStop technique on CropstopTV on embossing in the circle. Tim Holtz
Stormy Sky Distress Ink used to color, all with the foam applicator. I used a slick placemat under my work and it helps swirling the color over the card. Just wipe clean after EACH color. I also used TAC Stamp sets T-3255 Fabulous Frames
and T-3256 Savvy Sayings stamping with same ink color or sentiment in center. Used Cuttlebug to cut 3-1/2" scalloped circle from blue glimmer paper from HOTP ran it thru Xyron as embossed cards and "glue-stick" don't work well together. Cut 3-1/2" white circle with 2-1/2" circle center cut-out. Embossed with 2 x 2 corner hearts folder thru center opening. Any flaws can be
covered with sentiment piece Applied ink with foam applicator to embossed circle. I used
Nestie #4 for the sentiment applied pop-dots to back and raised it up!
I made more than one so I had some to use and share with my sister-in-law.

Cuttlebug Thank You

I saw this technique on the CropstopTV that
uses the small 2x2 embossing folders and you emboss the circle frame cut from 3-1/2" circle nestie and a 2-1/2" circle nestie. Stormy Sky Distress ink used with foam pad on white card stock. Scalloped circle using 3-1/2" Nestie on DCWV Paper. Stamp used is TAC frame for #4 Nestie T-3255 Fabulous Frames and T-3256 Savvy Sayings. Also used a white gel pen around frame. I made this for my in-laws for our gift for our anniversary Monday. 13 Years!!

Happy Birthday Dad!!

This is the birthday for my hubby's father. I think he will be 80 this year. I used Tac stamps for all parts of card.

Nesties #3, dble end Tags, ribbon, paper and brads are from Paper wishes Masculine collection and embellishments. I also used a score-pal for the border around card. No plans just made it up as I went along. The border punch is MS Arch for inside of card. The TAC sets used were
T-3268 That Guy(retired)
TAC-3274 Birthday Word Search(Happy Birthday). The ink I used was Marvy Black. The best craft item I used was the Stamp-a-ma-jig for getting the dad stamp into the #3 nesties cutout. I love that thing.
It was fun making this as I have been shopping alot and buying stuff and then sat down and watched 12 hours of Dancing with the Stars that I put on DVR while I was sick. I am caught up with that show also 1 hour left of V and 5 hours of House I missed.
I got alot of stamps at Michaels from the $1 bin, that I saw on e-bay for 1.99! Also got 4-pack of flocking in the $1 Bin. bought 6 so I had all the colors. Studio G makes it also glitter too. Made my Tom's 54th B-day card too will post it on Thursday. His b-day is the 21st. Had to send a belated card to Susan in SC cause I forgot her b-day was the 14th of July. I am working on my August cards now and need to start Christmas soon! I am BACK!!! Yeah for me!!!!!!! I am knitting in the bedroom where the big 42" Tv is located. I just made a spa mitt with nubbies on it for scrubbing in the shower. I am working on reuseable swiffer covers now. Sweep up and remove to wash and replace. Saves alot of money on paper swiffer refills!!!!

Three pieces are hand cut and popped up with foam tape. Brad for center top flower.Popped whole ting over leaves stamped with Versamark, as is the verse from TAC set.

Sew it's Another Birthday

Here is my card for SSC...
I stamped the zig-zag stitch with T-2610 Running Stitches from TAC. Happy Birthday in a circle is from a retired TAC set T-1241.
The candle is Big Birthday Candle from SU and the circle stamp is SU. It looks so much better in person as it is Neon Green card base. Bright Pink
stripes and candle with glitter. The Pink plaid paper is DCWV and the green candle is a Kleenex Tissue Holograph box. I save anything that is different to use on cards. Added yellow glitter to the flames too. India Ink from TAC and
pink and grasshopper ink also TAC. What do ya
think?

OMG 2 posts in one day, I'm on a roll...
This is my Girlie card for SSChallenge #53
Sugar & Spice. I used white cardstock my favorite. Stamped pink stripe on right and over stamped with black harlequin stamp retired
TAC set T-703 Designer Backgrounds. Stamp in pink with same harlequin stamp on left side of card and over stamped in black for saying, retired TAC set T-859. I made the purse by inking cardstock with same pink and using stencil I made of purse. drew line for flap and added bead closure and beaded handle.
I can make this card for many different occasions and change the colors too. I like this one!

Here is my Fishy Card for StampitCrazy challenge and it is an early Father's day card preview too. My father in law is a fisher so it will be sent to him. This was all made with my computer and a card program, but I did start with an idea and a white card.

This card looks like the daisies are popping out like
3-D but actually the swiss dot background is under the cutout of each flower. I cased this design from Laurie W,
and did not have that die like hers. Used HOTP flower template and hand cut each flower. had to make the smallest as template did not go that small. My buttons are from my sewing stash and used swiss dots with cuttlebug for background. Saying is TAC from PWP set.
How did I do?

My Build-a-card entry for SSC which is late but works for the challenge of flower power. The base is brown, lime is my fav color, so it is the rectangle and matted with blue to match flowers in pink and blue, the 2 other colors. The ribbon is being used for the vine and the sparkle is on the bitty blue flowers. The ladybug charm in the corner works here. Retired TAC stamp for main focus. I used Nesties Label 1 for the mat and rectangle beneath. Did I get everything ya'll asked for? I had fun but did not finish in time and don't want to part with physcal card so here it is.

HDH#31 Perilous Princess Challenge....
I hope this fits with this category! I used my
StampitCrazy girl stamp I won from Barb H.
thru an HDH challenge with Barb F. I made her a spiderweb Tiara gave her blonde hair. I colored
her with Bic pens except her face is Copic skin white.
I used a Black Stardust pen for accents to tiara, spiders and webs. I used a cuttlebug folder for card base and rubbed it down with black ink pad. Cutting this close, but I made it.
How did I do?

Welcome Little Baby....
This is my SSC Challenge entry "Baby Box Card"
that will hold a gift card for the mommy-to-be
to purchase any thing she wants or needs.
This is a fun project and I love making this kind of card. It uses card stock and white paper.
Stamps used are from Prickley Pear Stamps.
I used Marvy Markers for coloring and Marvy inks for background stippling.
I always make this for all gifts when it comes to bridal showers & baby showers it gets alot of attention and it never fails to please the recipient
or the crowd. Here is this dinky box and then it
gets opened and bang-gift card falls out.

Hope this is a good week for all; enjoy it every minute you can!

Well butter my Buns....
This is my card for Barb's Stampit crazy Cow challenge. Image and saying is from TAC, they
are T-3115 Funny Farm and T-3125 Funny Farm Sayings. I cut circles with nesties and the black circle was embossed with Spots & Dots
Cuttlebug Folder. I stamped the verse twice, once in black and again off center with pink for shadow effect. I love this cow!

My vintage Valentine for SSC Challenge...
Found this piece of tissue paper with the vintage look and added the velvet edging with deco scissors, braided floss for the tie and the sentiment is from Serendipity Stamps embossed in gold on vellum.
Hope I met the challenge! Have a good week and welcome to all the new DT and a heartfelt good bye to retiring DT members.

Sketch Challenge for Pink Persimmon...
for Gingham Girl Blog on the Hop entry!

Here is my card for this challenge. I really don't do sketches alot as I must be right-brained. It does not flow as well as others. But I saw the sketch in my mind on this.
The sentiment is TAC, as is the black and white paper is a TAC download. I punched it for flowers and used a nestie circle too. Scorebug also used and sanding block to distress edges and added black touches. I am happy!

I am a slacker....
Here is my Butterfly Circles for SSC!
The challenge was to put as many circles on it before it got too gaudy, did I get it just to that point?
The butterfly is T-3127 wishing happiness from TAC(The Angel Company). Nesties circles used
on Black and white circles & are embossed with cuttlebug-spots & dots folder. Base card was hand embossed by me with SU Brass circles template. Butterfly is really blue with dimensional glaze. 3 teeny-tiny brads in black complete the circle effect and to cover an oopsie.
But I like it anyway, how about you? Hope to have a full house of challenges this week.

This is my entry for StampitCrazy...
This is the meaning of romance for me with the
hearts and definition of love and cherish.
The definition is a clear stamp from IO, the hearts and Love are from Eureka Stamps.
Added glitter pen to hearts for extra punch.

Friendship SSC Challenge...
I love this card as it uses my new Cuttlebug flower die.
I just added silver brads at corners and prism paper to flower centers. The fancy layers of the flowers and the simple black and white makes it very elegant. TAC stamp retired.
Wrought iron corner punch used also. Have a good week!

Monkey in the Moon...
Please don't ask, I just had this idea when I saw this pix on Craftzine.com and I always thought this stamp looked like a monkey.
The story is they told the monkey in the 60's it was a short trip "to the moon and back" but as you can see he's still there! We miss you...
TAC stamp retired set Old World Ornaments and sentiment is Bookoo Blessings T-2892.
Hope you like it, but it's as dark as I could get today. This is for HDH#19 "Moonglow".
