Happy Holidays...
I am taking a break from any challenges this week. Just decided to show some of my cards I made over the last couple years. I
colored this with regular brush markers but the ornament was
done with a water brush and marker. Added silver starlight gel to circles and top with dimensional glaze. I think the image is inkadinkado???
Anyway see ya next week, stay happy!!!

I got as dark as I could get with this one....
I used orange cardstock from DCWV, distressed the front by applying tape and peeling away layers and scruffing up with burnt umber ink,
random scorbug and scor-pal used. Hat was stamped on white cardstock and I drew melted area in green and cut-out and glued to card front.
T-3039 Pumpkin Day (retired) was used for hat and witching you, the rest of saying was stamped on clear sticker sheet trimmed close and stuck to card. I was stumped for this challenge, but had a couple cards in my head and got them done Fri. nite watching Medium on CBS. I hope you get the pun!

Gold Greetings to all...
Here is my card for SSC, which had to have weaving. I used DCWV cardstock for base and scored with scor-pal and scor-bug on sides.
Distressed the card edges too. I used Nesties Label #1 for the gold dotted-swiss embossed and
green DCWV cardstock. All strips are same cardstock used for weaving and cut out with scalloped oval Nestie. TAC stamp sets are the Holly from T-1253 Christmas Fun and the Merry Christmas Oval R-2721 (both sets retired).
I embossed the Merry Christmas Oval with detail gold powder on white bristol board cut out and touched edges with burnt umber ink. The Holly was embossed with black detail powder on Bristol board and colored with Marvy brush Markers and stardust red and green pens from Sakura. I took my time getting the idea as it is the middle of the week, but I think it was worth it. I am liking my own work and may have to make several more. What do you think?

and breaking everything in my path. I just smirk and say "My Bad"
I was made with T3143 Spunky Sprite Girls
T2412 Enjoy Today(retired) colored background with watercolor crayons and waterbrush.
Flowers, pots and Penny colored with Bic Markers. Base card Navy DCWV Bristol Board for all colored cut out pieces. I hope Ya'll get the story and Like me.

I love this card so much it will work for the SSC
Challenge...
The challenge was Nature that you'd see in the fall. I used all TAC stamps and DCWV papers.
Stampsed leaves on paper and cut out for fall colors and texture. The red leaf is embossed with
cuttlebug folder spiderweb and gold ink rubbed on surface. The coloring of the leaf pile was done with markers and waterbrush. You can get so many colors by adding water. I don't use watercolor paper so I have to keep it from getting too wet. What do ya think?

This one was quick....
Got new inkadinkado stamp Gravestone and
just repeated it without the raven. Popped up
middle stone, added popped witch and ghosts for an errier feel no words needed. Gray base card
was scorebugged and I ran the bug over black ink pad first to darken holes. Stamped TAC India Ink off once and on card base with euphoric elements T-2851(retired). Used T-2868 fresh air favorites in gray on card front at bottom edge, not really meant to be seen heavily. All color on this card was Marker and waterbrush. India Ink for all stamping. The bats were from another inkadinkado stamp with a cresent moon, I masked off moon and stamped just the bats 3 times. ALL popped pieces are stamped on bristol board which is very heavy. Wire is glued to back of witch for support as I cut it out closely. All white edges of pieces were washed with gray. Hope it is Ghastly Enough.....

I love cranberries....
This is my card for SSC using a turkey.
I used Kraft cardstock for the base and all the cardstock is The Paper Co. The "tail-feathers" are
T-742 Luscious Leaves(retired) and The Turkey
is T-1139 Give Thanks all TAC sets. I used computer font Vintage Typewriter in Maroon
printed on clear full sheet labels, cut in strips and applied to card. I planned the turkey and my Tom came up with the words.
We work together like this alot. The turkey was colored with Bic Markers. All leaves for tail were stamped and cut out and glued on. Turkey is popped up on foam tape.
I hope ya'll like this one!!

This was a hard one...
Here is my card for Barb's HDH013
Bizarre Beauty School Dropout!
I looked thru all my stamps and nothing popped so I went to my Printmaster15. A little computer help for the skull added hair and and lips.
Blood of Dracula Script for the sentiment. Put clear glaze on lips. Stamped TAC euphoric elements(retired) around card then scored and used scorebug. I tried my best!

Hello everybody....
I am working on a couple challenge cards so here
is a card I did just for me. Using two TAC sets. I paper pieced the leaves and all paper is from DCWV. The stamp of kitty in leaves was colored with waterbrush and marvy markers. The red leaf was run thru the cuttlebug with a spiderweb folder for dimension. Swiped with Brilliance Gold over red leaf. I think I want to do something at the top under the words; add a ribbon...cause it looks too white. What ya think?

Hello my Friends...
This is my card for the SSC Challenge-Friendship Card and make your own background.
I used the distressed stripe folder from cuttlebug and also used the scorebug around the edges to match the center brown circle under the dove.
I punched 3 times to get the sentiment to fit in window, punch is from SU and a wonderful tool.
The Dove is from TAC peace set and sentiment also TAC both are retired. I thought it was too dark but Kraft makes everything kind of rustic.

Here it is my first try at Barb Foster's Challenge
at HDH...
What's hiding under the bed? These Little
Monsters are from the Recollections Stamp Set from Michael's. I glittered, glazed, sparkled
and glitzed these babies. I used wiggley eyes for
2 of the monsters but used dimensional glaze for the red one. The paper on him is from TAC Fruiti Fusion. The green Monster on the right is made from a holographic Klennex Box. Eyes paper is DCWV and I used the ever popular Drippy-Goo MS Punch. Hope it appears glitzy to you too!
Have a happy week and check under your Bed tonight!!

Good Morning to all;
Here is my take on the Fall Card for SSC....
The background is embossed with Versamark and clear EB. I brayered Ranger Big and Juicy Spice on glossy cardstock. The leaves are TAC (retired). Cardstock is #80
Cocoa and #80 Cappacino from Marco. The metallic gold is also Marco. It is hard to see the versamark stamped leaf with autumn in small square. The little leaves are punched from metal and glued around the orange floss.
I enjoyed making this card and I hope you enjoy viewing it. Thanks for coming by and have a good week!!

Printed the saying on computer (Blood of Dracula Font)
in red.
Stamped TAC Happy Hallo-scream in black. Used Nesties Label #1 to cover window detail &
embossed TAC Eeek in red. I hope yall like this one!

Now that I finished these Halloween Treat Boxes for Barb's Macabre Monday Challenge #8 here
they are in full photo. But the close up photos are better. All stamps used are TAC and the box template is from Oriental Trading. I made 25 but only have about 10 kids that come around. I fill with 3-4 kinds of candy from the $1.00 store.

The white ghost on the gray boxes is stamped on white sticker paper and cut out. I only made 6 gray boxes so needed 12 ghosts. I used a black stardust glitter pen on the ghost eyes and mouth and on the cracks on tombstone. Tombstone stamp a $1.oo bin special at Michael's. I did emboss the black box but decided to just use Moonlight white Brilliance Ink on the others since I made 6 more and then adding the orange circle with an eyelet ( see top photo) I had a good time making these, hope you like them.

Presenting My "pierced circle bird card"....
I had to make a template for piercing circles, so I made 2 and using the cuttlebug and Nesties sure makes it all so much quicker to cut heavy plastic. But on to the card, TAC sets peace and retired sparkle.
Burnt Umber ink used on Kraft paper and all other cdstock and paper is DCVW. Fussy cut the wing and poppped up. Made several with matching envelope(striped paper). Nothing special this week just working on Halloween treat boxes. Must tell you about great purchase this week. I earned $50.00 in gift-cards at Overstock.com thru My Points.com reading emails and ads. I ordered Nesties Plain Ovals and Labels #1 each was around $19.99. I used versamark for background and TAC Ink All-American Blue(retired). DCWV paper for the wing, tag and inner circle cut w/Nesties. The dove is stamped on inside of card and circle cut out of front. This may be my card for Christmas this year. I usually make 50. Better start now and look for more of the blue paper or may replace with dark blue circle or even white. How did I do? I Love this cause it is an original idea of mine. Anything but a card is the Challenge at SSC and mine is a writing set. Front has a tag attached for gift-giving. Top inside has a strip of butterflies
holding the envelopes. Strip has a velcro tab at bottom.

Paper below is perforated at top for
easy removal. The butterfly stamp is a retired set from TAC, but one of my favorites. I used resist and rainbow ink on glossy cardstock. You can't see it but the butterflies on tag and envelope strip are embossed with white and Kaleidascope EB Powders.
I hope you like this today!
Have a Good Week!!!

Here is my challenge with pleats for Paperlicious Designs. My first time doing a challenge for Melisa and I wanted something that was more decor:
not really a card in mind so I did this door hanger with a simple welcome.
Stamps are TAC cute curliques T-2878 and the welcome is from retired set but can't remember name. The colors are better in person. I inked Toile Pink Palette on Bristol board and stamped curliques with Belle Rose. The card stock in pink and lime is DCWV and is the plaid paper. The bow was made using Bow Template from Hot off the Press. I distressed the edges lightly and used Burnt Umber Palette for welcome and edges. I got this hanging on my craft room door. Hope everyone likes it!

hey there kitty! My newsest card was done this morning. Paper is TAC-V900 Gentle Beginnings Stamp set is T2805 (retired) Adorable Animals. I used small flower stamp from T2638 Petal Pack and French Lilac Palette Ink, also New Canvas on edges of circle. You can not see it well, but I used a square nestie to emboss on card, hand cut square and glued paper to back. Added kitty which I stamped with TAC India Ink on watercolor paper and colored with Bic pens(cheaper than copic $10 for 24 pens at Walmart). I like the way I balanced it with the flowers. Circle and flowers are popped up using Double-sided mounting tape cut into small pieces. Another bargain; cheaper than pop-dots and lasts longer. 3/4 inches x 57 foot roll for I think $2. I've had it so long I really don't remember. Dollor store or Walmart?? Well here it is DONE!!

Friday, June 26, 2009

I finally finished my 4th of July Decor! The picture is dark cuz I only had the front door open and the flash. I used a paper towel tube cut in thirds for the firecrackers. Got some more discontinued stamps today in mail, will cut out and play this evening. Today was last day to order anything from old catty. Hello to all, this is my lastest card using the Hostess Set Flower Labels.

I think I could have used lime ribbon but did not have any and it was an after thought. I made a Lime green card that is the same but says Thank You. But used watermark for background flowers and it was too light.

My Tom liked the pink better.

What do you think?

Not much to say today so leave ya with Have a good one!!

Saturday, May 16, 2009

Hi everyone, This is my lastest using the Hinges TAC Hostess set.

as it looked like snakeskin. I made the card first then had to come up

with a good stamp for center and found the perfect one. TAC Express

Yourself Set(retired). Coffee Bean Brown (Brilliance) Ink pad.

I gotta get some darker brown ink pads I think. What do ya think?

It could be sent as Congrats on new home or even newly married couple. Have a good weekend!
